The programme of the conference is divided in six panels, themed ‘Escape Routes’, ‘Virtual Communities: Empowerment’, ‘Virtual Communities: Resistance’, ‘Duress and (Digital) Silence’, ‘Remembering in Generations’ and ‘Nomadic Minds’. Keynote speakers are Saïbou Issa and Shamil Jeppie. You can now read the full programme here (subject to change; check back regularly for updates).

The conference is organized in collaboration with the Festival ‘N’djam s’enflamme en slam’, an initiative of Didier Lalaye (aka Croquemort). In addition to the conference day programme, CTD presents a cultural programme which includes an art exhibition, a film screening, and a public panel discussion.

During the conference, you can follow a live blog on the CTD website by Lucia Ragazzi (editor Bridging Humanities). She will share the latest conference news live from N’Djaména!
